Established in September 1999, Turtle & Hare Creative Inc. is committed to incorporating energy and creativity into all its public relations campaigns. We believe that making headlines and creating a buzz can be both fun and affordable.

Our History

Turtle & Hare's founders - Maryse Cardin and Frances Horner - have 17 years of international experience as award-winning publicists, with a combined client history that includes Cathay Pacific Airways, Wonderbra, the Finnish government, Guam Tourism Bureau, Toyota and News Corporation.

International PR

Frances and Maryse bring an international perspective to PR, having directed campaigns in Europe, Asia and North America. Our team offers services in French, English, and Japanese, and works with affiliates in local markets around the world.

Media Training and Speech Training Sessions

Turtle & Hare also conducts custom-tailored training sessions on a variety of topics including media interviews, on-stage presentations and public speaking. We help clients learn how to be effective spokespeople when communicating good news and also during crisis and issues situations. We also train our clients to be successful speakers and to deliver engaging live presentations.

Community Service

Turtle & Hare is committed to serving the local community. We’ve supported several local organizations over the years including the Cinderella Project, Volunteer Vancouver, the Children's Hospital, A Loving Spoonful, Musica Intima and Early Music Vancouver and we've sponsored the Vancouver Fringe Festival and the Waldorf School’s Performance Hall initiative. We have also participated in seminars and were guest speakers for several groups including the Alliance for Arts and Culture and Simon Fraser University. We teach several communications courses at Langara College and mentor young interns who have just entered the PR industry. We were also part of the judging pannel at the Kenneth R. Wilson Awards.
